Discrepancy Found Between On-Site Tally and Official Count in 337 Seoul Districts

It was confirmed that during the June 3 local elections, the number of voters tallied on-site at numerous polling stations in Seoul differed from the National Election Commission's final official count. Discrepancies were found between the on-site tallies and the official counts in 337 locations, representing 78.9% of Seoul's 427 administrative districts (dongs).

In Samseong-dong, Gwanak District, the official count of 7,299 was 381 fewer than the on-site tally of 7,680. In Guije 1-dong, Gwangjin District, the official count of 7,780 was 177 higher than the on-site tally of 7,603.

Discrepancies of up to 180 votes between on-site tallies and official results were also confirmed in areas such as Gaepo 2-dong in Gangnam District and Samseon-dong in Seongbuk District.
