Rep. Han Dong-hoon Summoned by Special Prosecutor over Martial Law Allegations

The secondary comprehensive special prosecutor's team, led by Kwon Chang-young, has notified independent lawmaker Han Dong-hoon of his summons to clarify his attendance at a ruling party-government-presidency meeting on December 4, 2024, and his alleged involvement in developing the rationale for martial law. The special prosecution team plans to question Rep. Han regarding the circumstances of his attendance at the meeting, the content of the discussions, and its subsequent connection to a secret meeting at a government safe house.

The special prosecution team is investigating suspicions that logic to justify martial law was developed during the aforementioned meeting and the secret gathering.

Rep. Han Dong-hoon denied receiving any summons notification.
