Cho Kuk: Claiming a 'New Lee Jae-myung' Alone Can Recreate the Government Is Treachery

Cho Kuk, head of the Rebuilding Korea Party's Innovation Research Institute, argued on the 14th that President Lee Jae-myung's declining approval rating stems from the ruling party treating allies from the 'Munjo-teollaeyu' faction as enemies. Sharing poll results on Facebook, Cho criticized the structural majority strategy centered on a 'New Lee Jae-myung' as the cause of these results.

He claimed, "Those who say that a 'New Lee Jae-myung' alone can bring success in governance, victory in the general election, and a recreation of the government are precisely the treacherous insiders."

The same day, Shin Ji-shik, leader of the Rebuilding Korea Party, said at the Supreme Council meeting, "The real crisis is that the public has begun to doubt the Democratic Party's commitment to reform." He pointed to the Democratic Party leadership's obsession with divisive tactics and protecting vested interests as the crisis.
