Pushing Through Kim Seung-won's Appointment Could Shake the Lee Jae-myung Government

Han Dong-hoon, an independent lawmaker, said on the 14th that "the Lee Jae-myung government could die from pushing through Kim Seung-won's appointment as justice minister," continuing his offensive against the ruling party in Busan.

Speaking at a press conference held in the briefing room of the Busan Metropolitan Council on Friday morning, Han raised allegations that the nominee Kim was involved in lobbying for the approval of a new drug clinical trial, claiming: "Ninety-three people nearly died after taking a poisonous drug, and Kim himself led the lobbying effort to get it approved."

Han urged the faction in control of the People Power Party, saying, "What conservatism needs is not fighting for its own sake, but winning," and asked them to join him in the fight.
