Park Jie-won urges Cho Kuk to 'enter the tiger's den' and return to the Democratic Party
Rep. Park Jie-won of the Democratic Party of Korea urged Cho Kuk, head of the Innovation Policy Research Institute at the Rebuilding Korea Party, to return to the Democratic Party and pursue politics together. In an interview on KBS Radio's "Jeongyeok Sisa" on the 17th, Park said, "Even if he becomes the presidential candidate of the Rebuilding Korea Party, can he become president? I don't think so." He then suggested, "He should come into the tiger's den — the Democratic Party — and strive to become a tiger there."
Park noted of Cho, "We worked together to get this president elected and walked the same path, but after losing in Pyeongtaek, he is venting his frustrations." He added, "I say this because I respect and care for him."
In response, Cho, speaking on his YouTube channel "Cho Morning," referred to Park and said, "Don't poke too deep."
