Jensen Huang: "AI Won't Go Rogue... It's Just Software"

"AI won't go rogue." NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang directly rebutted concerns that AI could slip out of human control. He made the remarks in an interview with ABC News in New York on the 28th (local time).

During the interview, he said, "AI is not a living being; it's just software," noting that it can be controlled with proper safeguards in place.

That day, Huang received the Van Fleet Award in recognition of his contributions to Korea-U.S. relations. In connection with the award, he spoke highly of Korea's technological prowess and social receptiveness to new technology. Huang predicted that Korea, building on AI and automation, would achieve even greater things beyond the limits of its population. He weighed in on the optimistic side of the AI debate.
