People Power Party Frames Impeachment Probe of Justice Cho Hee-dae as Grounds for President Lee Jae-myung's Impeachment
The People Power Party has defined the parliamentary probe into Supreme Court Justice Cho Hee-dae as grounds for impeaching President Lee Jae-myung and decided to launch a nationwide resistance campaign.
Party leader Jeong Jeong-sik announced this position at a meeting of the party's leadership, floor leadership, and supreme council members on the 27th.
The party plans to mobilize all means, including filibustering to block votes at the National Assembly plenary session and holding outdoor rallies. Rep. Jang Dong-hyuk said, "The parliamentary probe is a step preceding impeachment, and resistance is our duty."
