Court asks NIS leadership when the insurrection ended
Four National Intelligence Service officials, including Cho Tae-yong and Hong Jang-won, are on trial for alleged involvement in an insurrection, with their first hearing held behind closed doors.
The special prosecutors' team said the first hearing was closed to the public because the case involves matters of national security.
The court pointed out that the indictment does not specify when the insurrection ended, raising questions about the specificity of the charges (the criminal allegations the prosecution asserts against the defendants).
