October 30 Public Data Report: Daehun Environment and the Procurement Market

Public data from 175 companies was found to be evenly distributed across key activity areas, including government procurement, hiring, and crowdfunding.

Breaking down the 206 collected data points by category, government procurement, hiring, and crowdfunding each formed large clusters, along with regulatory and issue-related information. At the individual company level, the data spans small and mid-sized enterprises, startups, and regional specialty firms. Rather than being concentrated in a single company, data has accumulated along multiple axes, making this analysis meaningful for reading overall market activity trends rather than the performance of any particular firm.

Regional Specialty Firms Step Into the Procurement Market

The government procurement category featured numerous infrastructure-type service companies in fields such as environment, forestry, architecture, and surveying. Environmental and forestry companies like Daehun Environment, Daekyung Forest Development, and Forest Resources Development Co. stood out, while design and engineering firms such as Hanin Architects and Hanbit Engineering Architects have also entered the procurement market. It is also notable that geospatial data companies like Geumgang Geographic Information were included.

Also present were technology and safety firms such as Jinwoo ATS, Ace-Tone Engineering, and Hyuksin Safety Technology, alongside financial-sector companies like Kyobo LifePlanet Insurance, all with procurement track records. This shows that the Public Procurement Service-centered public purchasing market functions not merely as a stage for large corporations, but as a stable source of contracts for regionally based specialty firms. Public procurement offers relatively long contract periods and low payment-default risk, serving as a revenue stabilizer for small and medium-sized enterprises. The fact that multiple procurement contracts are underway itself serves as evidence of these companies' fundamental competitiveness.

Industry-Specific Talent Demand Revealed in Job Postings

Hiring data clearly maps the terrain of industry-specific demand. The most prominent trend is demand for technology and development personnel. Human Consulting Group sought a payroll system developer covering year-end tax settlement modules, while JS E posted a job opening for an automation control programmer. Renew People simultaneously recruited for managerial and global roles—including a research lab head, a te PCB overseas sales team leader, and an expatriate overseeing a Vietnam production plant—reflecting the talent expansion race among manufacturers with overseas production bases.

Hiring in education and lifestyle sectors is also active. S-K English Academy and Saenggak Academy sought education administrators and math instructors, while Shop Music made vehicle ownership a condition for hiring early childhood music instructors. The list continues with a freelance trainer posting at Uzfit's Changwon branch, Raon Search's recruitment of an experienced environmental health professional, and Prainok's hiring of a video designer for a fashion brand. A shift is also visible in the wording of postings: rather than simple recruitment, an approach that foregrounds career narratives such as "growing into an education administration expert" is spreading. This is interpreted as a strategy by companies to attract applicants by presenting job visions during a period of rising labor costs.

Crowdfunding Establishes Itself as a Stage for Consumer Validation

Crowdfunding was the most dynamic category in this tally. On Wadiz, the food sector led fundraising results. Onwa's giant 500g peach project raised more than 15.7 million won, and Yu Hyeong-gon's charcuterie project raised funds with its first Wadiz launch. Seasonal limited products such as summer fruit compotes also appeared, showing that timely marketing works as a variable in funding success.

Results were also solid in tech and lifestyle goods. Truvo's anti-theft travel sling bag raised over 2.9 million won, and Ssok-On's AI content production project accumulated more than 3.8 million won. Troiki's Ten Head massager and Algorixm's AI service builder for non-developers each secured support of around 1.5 million won. LOOK AT ME rolled out multiple projects in succession—cooling boxer briefs, silicone body shower pads, and wrist-mounted smartphone stands—executing a series-based brand strategy.

The gaps in fundraising amounts are wide, with projects in the hundreds of thousands of won coexisting with those exceeding ten million won. But this gap is itself a signal of consumer validation. Crowdfunding serves as a risk-reduction tool for confirming demand in advance, and because the amount raised functions as an initial indicator of market fit, it remains an effective validation channel for startups and consumer goods companies.

What Balanced Data Tells Us

What deserves attention is that three axes—procurement, hiring, and crowdfunding—are moving simultaneously. The data captures a structure in which companies build a foundation through public contracts, secure talent to generate growth momentum, and test consumer response through funding. Meanwhile, some companies appeared in regulatory and issue-related data, but their overall share is limited and not significant enough to undermine growth trends. Sanctions against certain companies were also confirmed, but they are hard to view as variables that would change the overall market trajectory.

The outlook is cautiously optimistic. With AI-powered tools and travel- and health-related consumer goods dominating the top of the funding rankings, further launches of personalized tech-consumption products are expected. In the job market, demand for developers and global managerial roles is projected to continue for the time being. As Sam Walton said, the secret is that everyone works together. This triangular structure—stability through procurement, capability through hiring, and market access through funding—appears poised to become the growth path for many small and medium-sized enterprises.
