Incheon Education Office Enhances Teacher Rights Protection Capacity Through Training
The Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education has stepped in to better respond to difficulties teachers face in the school environment and to firmly protect teachers' educational activities.
To protect teachers' educational activities, the Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education operates a 'Field Advisory Group for Educational Activity Protection,' comprising 62 teachers and education professionals from kindergarten, elementary, middle, high, and special schools, thereby expanding its field-centered support system.
To this end, training aimed at enhancing the expertise of the 62 members of the 'Field Advisory Group for Educational Activity Protection' was conducted. The advisory group's capacity-building training, held on the 7th, covered response strategies based on laws and actual cases related to violations of educational activities, as well as protection measures tailored to the characteristics of each school level and directions for the advisory group's operation.
The Field Advisory Group for Educational Activity Protection is scheduled to expand its role by providing direct educational support to schools, producing materials, and creating promotional videos and card news.
An official from the Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education stated, "The protection of educational activities is a matter directly linked not only to teachers' rights but also to students' learning and growth," adding, "We will further strengthen support for schools, centering on the field advisory group."
