Schumer Calls Trump 'a Military Moron'

U.S. Senator Chuck Schumer on the 8th called President Donald Trump a 'military moron,' criticizing his governance regarding the Iran war. Through his social media posts, Schumer argued that the current situation in the U.S. has worsened compared to when the Iran war began, pointing out that the conflict has incurred costs of $44 billion and led to rising oil prices.

The White House immediately refuted Senator Schumer's criticism. White House spokesperson Anna Kelly stated that President Trump has taken brave measures to prevent Iran from using nuclear weapons and is close to a solid agreement for lasting peace.

Earlier, President Trump announced a two-week ceasefire with Iran on Tuesday. He declared Iran's suspension of uranium enrichment and removal of nuclear material, and stated that a 50% tariff would be imposed on countries arming Iran.
