Jang Dong-hyuk Addresses Supreme Council Meeting

Jang Dong-hyuk, leader of the People Power Party, criticized President Yoon Suk-yeol's sharing of a video on an unspecified date, calling it fake news that creates diplomatic risks.

At the emergency Supreme Council meeting held that day, Jang pointed out that the video shared by President Yoon was a two-year-old foreign press report unrelated to the Middle East war, showing the handling of bodies of deceased Palestinian fighters.

He criticized, "Does spreading fake news and creating diplomatic risks resolve everything by saying it's somewhat fortunate now?" He added, "From the public's perspective, it is a diplomatic setback," urging, "Instead of digging up and posting fake news, focus on people's livelihoods first."
