Han Dong-hoon to Jeon Jae-soo: 'Will You Stop Lee Jae-myung's Martial Law?' Amid 'Betrayal' Dispute
Jeon Jae-soo, a Democratic Party lawmaker, criticized Han Dong-hoon, former leader of the People Power Party, on KBS Radio's 'JeonGyeok Sisa' program on the morning of the 13th, stating, "He fought with former President Yoon Seok-yeol for political gain and ultimately betrayed him." Jeon pointed out that Han would find it difficult to win the support of voters in Busan's Buk District, referencing Han's past expulsion from the party due to conflicts while serving as its leader.
Han Dong-hoon retaliated on his Facebook page later that day. He wrote, "Rep. Jeon said that I, Han Dong-hoon, betrayed former President Yoon by stopping his martial law." He then retorted, "If we follow your logic, Rep. Jeon received great favors from President Lee, who appointed him minister and gave him a nomination for the mayoral race. So, if President Lee imposes martial law, won't you stop him as I did?"
Based on this, Han Dong-hoon labeled Jeon as belonging to a 'Yun-again' faction within the Democratic Party that advocates martial law. He also continued his offensive regarding alleged corruption, urging Jeon, "Stop beating around the bush and say whether you received Cartier," adding, "If you lie and say you didn't, you'll be disqualified from the election anyway."
