Asan Man in 60s Arrested for Stabbing Wife

A husband in his 60s has been arrested in Asan, Chungnam, for stabbing his wife during a domestic dispute. Around 12:37 PM on the 15th, Mr. A reportedly stabbed his wife, Ms. B, in the leg with a kitchen knife while they were arguing in their apartment in Oncheon-dong, Asan City. Ms. B was transported to the hospital, but her injuries were not life-threatening. The incident underscores the severity of domestic violence.

During police questioning, Mr. A stated that the crime was committed in a fit of anger following an argument with his wife over home repair costs. He had reportedly consumed a small amount of alcohol at the time.
