Global Saea Holds Inaugural Scholarship Ceremony

Global Saea Group has launched its first scholarship program to foster talent that will lead future society. The 'Global Saea Scholarship' is a program that awards scholarships to students in the College of Engineering at Jeonnam National University, Chairman Kim Woong-ki's alma mater, based on a comprehensive evaluation of their academic passion, grades, and future potential. This year's event marked the first of its kind. At the award ceremony held at the College of Engineering, Jeonnam National University on April 8th, approximately 40 guests including Chairman Kim Woong-ki, Jeonnam National University President Lee Geun-bae, and faculty and staff members attended. Four students were selected and each received a scholarship of 5 million won. Chairman Kim Woong-ki personally presented the certificates to the four scholarship recipients: Park Si-yeon and Song Min-jae from the Department of Polymer Convergence Materials Engineering, Yoon Ye-eun from the Department of Chemical Engineering, and Park In-in from the Department of Environmental Energy Engineering.

In his congratulatory speech, Chairman Kim Woong-ki said, "There is no single right answer in life. Life depends on the choices you make at each moment, so I urge you to choose the narrow and challenging path of endeavor over the broad and easy one." He added, "After graduation, as you enter society, grow into warm leaders who willingly extend a helping hand to others.”

Scholarship recipient Park Si-yeon mentioned Chairman Kim's story and stated that the scholarship would serve as 'seed money for life.' Yoon Ye-eun decided to pursue graduate studies thanks to the scholarship and expressed her ambition to become a leader who cares for those around her.
