Seo-gu District Launches Factory Fire Safety Campaign

Incheon's Seo-gu District has taken direct action to enhance the safety of small factories within its jurisdiction. On the 16th, the district organized an on-site campaign in the factory-dense areas around Dream Park, distributing fire prevention guidelines and raising safety awareness. This initiative aims to mitigate damage from sudden fires and safeguard businesses that are crucial to the local economy.

Members of the Seo-gu Safety Volunteers participated in the campaign, touring factory areas near Dream Park to distribute informational materials on fire prevention tips and self-inspection checklists. They also explained how to use the Safety Newspaper application to residents who visited. The campaign was conducted to encourage self-inspections by businesses operating in fire-vulnerable environments and to concurrently promote upcoming safety inspections and drills.

The schedules for the 'National Disaster Response Safety Korea Training' and 'Intensive Safety Inspection' planned for May and June were also announced. Seo-gu has scheduled intensive safety inspections of major facilities and disaster response drills for the second quarter.
