Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan Raise KOSPI Target
Major global investment banks (IBs) have positively assessed the recent recovery of the South Korean stock market and raised their KOSPI (Korea Composite Stock Price Index) targets.
Goldman Sachs raised its 12-month KOSPI target from 7000 to 8000, while J.P. Morgan raised it to 8500, presenting a bright outlook for the South Korean stock market.
Both institutions cited improving corporate earnings, particularly in semiconductors and industrials, and low valuations as key reasons for their bullish stance.
