With the fixed TV market stagnating, Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics are entering a competition to preempt the market by introducing new portable screens with enhanced screen sizes and picture quality.

Portable screens, which can be moved around and used anywhere in the home instead of fixed TVs, are garnering attention as a new technological trend in the home appliance industry.

LG Electronics launched the 'LG StanbyME 2 Max,' featuring a 32-inch 4K Ultra High Definition (UHD) resolution, on the 20th. This model boasts approximately a 40% larger screen size compared to its predecessor and is equipped with a 3rd generation Alpha 8 AI processor, significantly enhancing immersion and picture quality.
