Adult Broadcast Studio Near Elementary School: 'Infringement on Children's Learning Rights'

An adult broadcast studio specializing in 'Excel Broadcast' has opened in the basement of a building near an elementary school in Gangnam, Seoul. Established in March of last year, the studio operates with multiple female hosts (BJ's) performing provocative dances and displaying sponsorship rankings in an Excel-like format.

Around 3 PM on the 23rd, women wearing revealing clothing were spotted entering a building about 100 meters from the elementary school. They were seen smoking on the street or live-streaming on their mobile phones, creating a situation where elementary school students had to pass by the studio. Rumors about the studio had already spread among the students.

Parents began filing complaints with the Office of Education, the school, and the district office starting in the middle of this month.
