100,000 Gapyeong Golf Course Users' Personal Information Leaked

Personal information of approximately 100,000 users has been leaked due to a hacking incident at a golf course in Gapyeong, Gyeonggi Province. The number of golf course users affected by this data breach is estimated to be around 100,000.

The leaked personal information includes items such as name, date of birth, gender, ID, password, mobile phone number, landline phone number, email address, and residential address.

Police have launched an investigation, leaving open the possibility of involvement by North Korean hacking groups. While investigating key North Korean hacking organizations, police identified that the R&E CC server had been infected with malware and detected signs of information leakage.
