Lee, through his Facebook account on the same day, took issue with Inyohan's recent defense of a figure controversial for pro-Japanese collaboration, stating, 'The thoughts of people who lived in that era could have been different.'

Lee pointed out that Inyohan's remarks reinforce the perception of the People Power Party as a party that uses 'inflammatory comments' for electoral success, expressing concern that such statements could negatively impact national unity and historical perception.
