The Daejeon Metropolitan Office of Education will conduct a special inspection on public official conduct from April 28 to June 2, targeting all schools and affiliated organizations within its jurisdiction.
This measure aims to prevent violations of public officials' duty of political neutrality and to establish a strong work ethic in preparation for the 9th National Simultaneous Local Elections.
The inspection team plans to scrutinize election interference, violations of duty, adherence to the public officials' code of conduct and the Improper Solicitation and Graft Act, and any corrupt practices related to budget execution. Any violations found will be dealt with according to regulations.
