Iran is creating memes to mock former U.S. President Donald Trump using artificial intelligence (AI) technology. Amidst tense relations with the United States, Iran is continuing its propaganda war by mocking former President Trump with videos that combine AI memes and gangster rap.

The video, posted by a pro-Iranian account, features former President Trump and Iran's Supreme Leader Khamenei on a boat in front of the Strait of Hormuz. The AI-generated video includes scenes of a Trump Lego figure with a pig's nose touching money, and Lego soldiers lying in coffins. Another scene shows a Trump Lego figure holding a picket sign with the word 'loser' on it, with its rear end catching fire. The video also depicts former President Trump as a puppet of Israel.

Iran, where domestic online activity is restricted due to government-imposed internet shutdowns, is actively engaged in AI propaganda campaigns on social media platforms. The advantage of using AI is that it allows for the production of multiple videos without significant investment of time and cost. Some of these videos, which caricature former President Trump or criticize his policies, have garnered over 900,000 views.
