Tesla recalls 210,000 vehicles over rear camera issue

Tesla is recalling approximately 218,868 vehicles due to a rear camera video delay issue.

The recall is due to a defect where the camera image is displayed late when the vehicle is in reverse. The U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) stated that this issue could limit the driver's visibility and increase the risk of accidents.

Tesla stated there have been no fatalities or injuries reported due to the issue, although 27 related insurance claims and 2 reports have been filed.
