The Special Act on the Return of Pro-Japanese Collaborator Assets to the State was passed by the National Assembly on the 7th, laying the groundwork for the state to claim assets accumulated through pro-Japanese activities.

Among the bills processed were the Framework Act on Life and Safety, which mandates the establishment of an independent body to clarify the responsibilities of national and local governments and investigate accident causes, and the special act enabling the return of pro-Japanese collaborators' assets to the state. Amendments to the Labor Standards Act, the Passenger and Freight Vehicle Transport Business Act, the Nationality Act, the School Violence Prevention Act, the Act on Special Cases Concerning Prompt Trials, and the Special Measures Act on the Arrangement of Specific Buildings were also passed.

A proposed constitutional amendment failed to meet the required quorum as the People Power Party abstained from the vote. National Assembly Speaker Woo Won-sik plans to convene another plenary session on the 8th to re-attempt a vote.
