HMM Headquarters Relocation to Busan Confirmed

The process of relocating HMM's headquarters from Seoul to Busan will be finalized within this month. With shareholders' approval, the company's legal address will be officially changed to Busan, and final procedures such as relocation registration are set to proceed.

This decision serves as an opportunity to join national balanced development efforts and recommit to the company's new leap forward. HMM decided on the headquarters relocation through labor-management agreement late last month, a process that has been pursued as a past presidential pledge and a government state project.

HMM CEO Choi Won-hyuk stated that the headquarters relocation will contribute to national balanced development and serve as an opportunity to secure the company's growth engine.
