Trump Rejects Iran Nuclear Deal Offer; Talks Facing Collapse

US President Donald Trump has stated that he cannot accept the proposal related to Iran's nuclear program. Trump conveyed through his social media that he did not like Iran's response and found it unacceptable.

US Ambassador to the UN, Mike Waltz, stated that President Trump is giving diplomacy a chance but is also prepared for military action. Amidst Iran's attempts to block the Strait of Hormuz and the US's counter-blockade efforts, it is reported that tensions in the Middle East could escalate again if negotiations between the two sides break down.

A senior US official stated that President Trump will press Chinese President Xi Jinping on supporting Iran during their summit in Beijing on the 14th.
