High School Student Murder Suspect's Identity Leaked, Reigniting Private Sanction Debate

Jang's graduation photo, face, age, and alma mater, which were slated for official disclosure after deliberation, were circulated on SNS first.

It has become a recurring pattern for 'private sanctions' to occur without waiting for legal procedures when heinous crimes are committed. The spread of such information raises concerns as it can inflict secondary damage on innocent individuals unrelated to the crime, as well as the perpetrator's family and acquaintances.
