Mihrigul Tursun, a 35-year-old Uyghur woman, has testified about her horrific experiences in China, an account gaining attention as crucial evidence regarding the human rights issues of ethnic minorities within the country.

Tursun stated that she was detained by authorities immediately after returning to China from Egypt in 2015. She claims she was forcibly separated from her newborn triplets and subsequently subjected to torture. Tursun described her experiences in the detention facility, including confinement in underground cells, relentless interrogations, the nightly sounds of women screaming, and crowded, foul-smelling dormitories. She recounted the memory of trying to share her body heat with her son, who died in her arms.

Tursun, who now resides in the United States, explained that she is speaking out because she believes many survivors in China may be facing similar dangers. She has chosen to voice her experiences due to what she endured for her faith.
