Lee Yong Criticizes Lee Kwang-jae as 'Choo Mi-ae Season 2'

The People Power Party candidate for the Hanam Gap parliamentary by-election, Lee Yong, has criticized his rival, Lee Kwang-jae, by likening him to 'Choo Mi-ae Season 2' and stated his own position on the qualifications required for regional politicians. Candidate Lee Yong is making his second attempt to enter the National Assembly, two years after 2024.

In an interview with Yonhap News Agency in Hanam, Gyeonggi Province, on the 19th, Candidate Lee stated, 'Regional politics requires a deep attachment to the region to be carried out responsibly.'

Candidate Lee criticized rival Candidate Lee Kwang-jae as 'Choo Mi-ae Season 2,' pointing out that Lee Kwang-jae had previously referenced the Gangwon and Bundang regions.

Candidate Lee Yong outlined his vision for regional development by proposing the introduction of express services on Subway Line 5 as a solution to Hanam's transportation problems.
