National Assembly By-election: Early Voting Records 12.07% Turnout on First Day
On the first day of early voting, the voter turnout for the National Assembly by-elections was recorded at 12.07%. Among the 14 National Assembly by-election constituencies nationwide, the Gunsan-Kimje-Buan constituency in North Jeolla Province recorded the highest turnout at 24.80% on the first day, while Asan-Eul in South Chungcheong Province had the lowest at 8.16%.
Early voting will continue on May 30th from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 3,571 polling stations nationwide. Voters can cast their ballots at any early voting station nationwide, regardless of their registered address, provided they bring identification.
The main election will be held on June 3rd, and voters can only cast their ballots at polling stations within the jurisdiction of their registered residential address. Voters in the National Assembly by-election districts will receive eight ballot papers.
