Incheon Early Voting: 29 Calls to 112 Reported
A total of 29 election-related calls to the 112 emergency line were received in the Incheon area on May 30, the final day of early voting for the June 3 local elections. The Incheon Police Agency stated that the number of election-related 112 calls recorded between 5 a.m. and 4 p.m. that day was 29.
The calls were categorized by type: 18 for noise, 2 for campaign obstruction, and 9 for other reasons.
Around 12:46 p.m. that day, a woman in her 20s, identified as Ms. A, was arrested on the spot near the Incheon Seo District Office in Simgok-dong, Seo District. She is accused of swearing at a campaign worker for a People Power Party Incheon City Council candidate and kicking the campaign placard they were holding, thus obstructing the campaign.
