U.S. President Donald Trump reportedly expressed strong dissatisfaction with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's military operations, suggesting that Netanyahu remains in power thanks to him. According to reports by Axios, Trump called Netanyahu on the 28th of last month to protest.

Trump conveyed his stance on the situation where ceasefire negotiations between the U.S. and Iran were on the verge of collapse, as Israel expanded its military operations against the Iran-backed Lebanese militant group Hezbollah. Iran reportedly suspended message exchanges for a ceasefire agreement with the U.S., designating Israel's attack on Lebanon as a violation of the ceasefire agreement. Trump's remarks stemmed from the judgment that expanding Israeli military action could impact the ceasefire negotiations that the U.S. has been mediating.

Netanyahu responded to Trump by saying, "I understand. However, please manage the situation well." U.S. government officials stated that the conversation between the two leaders was very heated and included expletives from President Trump.

Trump's remarks this time underscore his strong desire for an end to the Middle East war, and attention is focused on the impact this will have on communication between the two leaders and the Middle East peace negotiation process.
