Songpa Election Commission Faces Court Probe Over Ballot Box Disposal

The court will directly investigate the circumstances surrounding the Songpa District Election Commission's disposal of a ballot box marked '1,900 printed copies,' ordering the submission of ledgers detailing ballot counts within the box, related documents, and CCTV footage.

Specifically, the court has requested CCTV footage showing the removal of the ballot box between 6 a.m. on the 9th and 3 p.m. on the 10th, adding to the intrigue.

The Songpa District Election Commission stated that it handed over the ballot box to a waste disposal company around noon on the 9th, five and a half hours before the court issued its evidence preservation order.
