Han Jia, a lawmaker from the People Power Party, criticized People Power Party leader Jang Dong-hyuk for negotiating with protesters at the Seoul Olympic Park Handball Gymnasium, calling it a 'disappearance of the rule of law and public authority.' Through Facebook, Han pointed out that negotiations occurred with the consent of the protesters, stating that even the entry of sports organization staff into their offices was left to the protesters' permission.

At the time, one of the protest participants blocked the entrance, thwarting attempts by staff from sports organizations under the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee to enter the building. Jang Dong-hyuk was quoted as saying at the scene, 'If even one person is blocking this door, I have no intention of proceeding with this matter forcefully today.'

Meanwhile, the Songpa Police Station announced on June 16 that it has immediately launched an investigation into the protesters who blocked employees from entering their offices, citing charges such as obstruction of business. The police plan to strictly process the case based on collected evidence. This incident demonstrated how certain collective actions influenced law enforcement procedures, drawing increased attention to related matters.
