President's Disapproval Rating Rises to 49.7% (from 44.2%)

According to a survey conducted by Realmeter from June 14 to June 18, 2026, among 2,517 adults nationwide, the approval rating for the President's job performance was 46.7%. The disapproval rating stood at 49.7%. The margin of error for this survey was ±2%p at a 95% confidence level.

Presidential Job Performance Evaluation

The approval rating for the President's job performance was tallied at 46.7%. The disapproval rating was 49.7%, which is 3.0%p higher than the approval rating. This result shows a 4.8%p decrease in approval and a 5.5%p increase in disapproval compared to the previous survey.

In the survey conducted on June 15, the President's job performance approval rating was 51.5%, but it dropped to 46.7% in the latest survey. The disapproval rating increased from 44.2% to 49.7% during the same period. Compared to the survey on June 1, the approval rating fell by 12.4%p from 59.1% to 46.7%, and the disapproval rating rose by 12.9%p from 36.8% to 49.7%. The President's job performance approval rating has shown a declining trend for three consecutive surveys, while the disapproval rating has shown an upward trend for three consecutive surveys.

Party Support Ratings

In the party support rating survey, the People Power Party garnered 42.3%, recording a higher support rate than the Democratic Party of Korea (40.1%) by 2.2%p. The gap in support ratings between the two parties was within the margin of error.

The People Power Party's support rating decreased by 2.0%p from 44.3% in the previous survey (June 15). The Democratic Party of Korea's support rating rose by 2.1%p from 38.0% during the same period to 40.1%, with both parties showing fluctuations within the margin of error.

Meanwhile, the Cho Kuk Innovation Party received 2.9% support, a decrease of 0.8%p from the previous survey. The Reform Party rose by 0.6%p to 3.4%, and the Progressive Party rose by 0.5%p to 1.7%.
