President Lee Jae-myung to Meet Former President Moon Jae-in for Lunch
President Lee Jae-myung will invite former President Moon Jae-in to Cheong Wa Dae for lunch on the 1st of next month, marking their first meeting since his inauguration. Kang Yoo-jung, senior presidential spokesperson, announced this fact during a briefing on June 25.
President Lee Jae-myung and former President Moon Jae-in are expected to discuss state affairs and international issues.
Former First Lady Kim Jung-sook and current First Lady Kim Hye-kyung will not attend the luncheon.
This will be the first time President Lee Jae-myung has met with former President Moon Jae-in separately, outside of official events, since his inauguration in June of last year.
