U.S.-Iran Tensions Ease…Gold Up 1% on Weak Oil and Dollar

Gold prices rebounded as international oil prices fell, driven by a halt in airstrikes between the U.S. and Iran and expectations for negotiations. The dollar value and U.S. Treasury yields also weakened. U.S. gold futures for August rose 0.9% to $4,089.03 per troy ounce. As of 10:12 a.m. ET on July 27, 2026, the international gold price stood at $4,076.20 per troy ounce.

According to the Korea Gold Exchange, as of midnight on July 28, 2026, 24K 3.75g pure gold traded at 845,000 won (buying) and 712,000 won (selling) in the domestic market. Based on Korea Gold Exchange standards, the selling price for 18K gold was 523,400 won, and for 14K gold was 405,900 won. The platinum selling price was 270,000 won, and the silver selling price was 9,790 won.

The UAE Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) operates a regulatory framework for virtual assets, requiring a license to provide related financial services. HancomWith signed a business agreement with UAE gold trading company ADGT and Cast Holdings to promote a gold-based RWA business. ADGT manages the supply chain that connects gold produced through a Tanzanian gold mine project to the UAE for refining and storage. HancomWith’s affiliate AB Labs handles token issuance and reserve verification through the blockchain platform 'Ontorium'.
