Coupang's AI is easing customers' shopping dilemmas. On the 7th, Coupang announced it has improved the entire shopping process, from product discovery to comparison and final purchase decisions, by utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) technology.

Key categories now feature 'Product at a Glance' and 'Product Highlights' to provide summarized essential information. For Rocket Delivery products that require specification comparisons, such as home appliances, 'AI Infographics' have been applied, visually presenting easy-to-understand information like the capacity of clothing a washing machine can hold based on its size. A review summary function has also been developed to condense positive and negative aspects by analyzing numerous user reviews. The 'AI Product Comparison' feature, introduced in the home appliance and digital sectors early this year, has been advanced to automatically compare and analyze differences with other products based on customer browsing history and product information.

Coupang plans to expand the application of AI technology across its entire product detail pages in the future, aiming to build an optimal shopping environment that supports product selection.
