Democrat's Hwang Hee Proposes 'Bus Houses,' Party Calls It 'Personal Opinion'… Lee Un-ju Criticizes Government Tax Policy
Two Democratic Party lawmakers separately unveiled a housing space proposal and criticism of government policy on their Facebook pages on the 7th.
Lawmaker Hwang Hee publicized the 'Bus House' idea, which suggests remodeling buses destined for scrapping as temporary shelters for young people; however, the party's chief spokesperson made it clear that this was a personal proposal, not an official party stance.
On the same day, lawmaker Lee Un-ju criticized the government's tax reform plan, arguing that it could drive up both sales prices and rents given the shortage of jeonse and monthly rental housing.
Party leader Lee Jae-myung reviewed housing supply measures for six hours, while the government plans to announce measures for housing supply in the metropolitan area at a ministerial meeting on the 12th.
