OpenAI has removed limits on text conversations for its latest AI model, 'GPT-5.6 Luna,' making it available to free users without restriction. This unlimited access applies to both free users and subscribers of the low-cost 'Go' plan, though usage limits remain for file uploads and image generation.

GPT-5.6 is divided into three sub-models: 'Sol,' 'Tera,' and 'Luna.' Among them, Luna is a lightweight model that boasts the fastest processing speed, despite having relatively lower performance. The Luna model also supports the 'Think' feature, which allows the computer to extend thinking time to handle complex questions.

OpenAI offers differentiated features based on subscription tiers, such as significantly enhancing the factual reliability of the premium 'Sol' model for users on paid plans costing $20 or more per month.
