This burst of hiring spanning manufacturing, IT, and overseas business is typical of a company in an expansion phase.
Demand for technical roles is also pronounced. Market Implications and Outlook
Overlaying the three data sets paints a single picture. Procurement is pivoting around environment, forestry, and safety; hiring around manufacturing technology and global operations; funding around food and AI. This means that while public investment and private consumption are moving in different directions, companies are finding opportunities on both fronts. To be sure, some companies faced Fair Trade Commission sanctions and fraud issues were confirmed, but they account for a small share of the overall data.
Going forward, orders related to carbon neutrality and safety are expected to grow further in the procurement market.
