From an 18.75 Million Won Wadiz Vacuum Cleaner to a 60,000 Won Towel: The Gap in Funding Results

A cordless vacuum cleaner powered by a Samsung battery raised 18.75 million won. A look at 80 crowdfunding projects verified through public data shows backing amounts ranging from as little as the 60,000-won range to as much as the 18-million-won range — a gap of nearly 300 times. This gap is not simply a matter of product popularity; it is a signal of which product categories make consumers open their wallets. Analyzing projects from the 66 companies in the data by type clearly reveals the direction of this summer's crowdfunding market.

Food and Agricultural Products Sweep the Top Fundraising Ranks

A significant share of the top fundraisers was not gadgets but food. On&One's 'King Peach' project surpassed 15.7 million won with a single box of 500-gram peaches, IQBox's Playmobil space collaboration educational toy raised 15.58 million won, and RunnerFit's 18,900-won full running set brought in 8.96 million won. Also notable is the cluster of food projects built around seasonal fruit, including Fruitmeister's new premium grape variety 'Purple Lady' at 1.33 million won, 'Summer King' apples at 920,000 won, and GreenPick's peach and plum pies at 410,000 won.

This trend suggests crowdfunding is expanding from 'new product test sales' to 'pre-orders of limited-edition agricultural goods.' The recurring pattern of premium new varieties, master farmers, and phrases like 'available for only one month' is evidence that scarcity-driven marketing grammar has taken root in the food and agriculture sector. For consumers, it means securing varieties unavailable at large supermarkets in advance; for farms, it means confirming sales volumes before harvest and reducing risk.

AI Tool Funding Targets Content Creators

Another clear axis is AI. SsokOn's AI short-form content production raised 3.8 million won, Algorixm's AI service builder for non-developers drew 1.79 million won, and Sunchak Tool also launched funding for its AI short-form maker. All three projects prominently featured the message that 'no coding or editing skills are required.'

In other words, the primary target of AI funding appears to be individual creators and small business owners, not corporations. The repeated use of phrases like 'one click,' 'in one second,' and 'no developer needed' signals a market where removing barriers to entry has become the selling point itself. However, given that these projects' fundraising totals fall short of the top ranks in food and home appliances, the AI tool market appears to still be in an early stage of demand validation.

Encore Listings and Price Tags: The Grammar of Small Donations

Certain recurring phrases in the data stand out. People Korea marketed its glossy towel as a 25th encore listing and its long-hair towel as a 22nd encore. Considering that products resold over a dozen times accumulated only around 60,000 won and 180,000 won respectively, the encore labels seem to be used less to highlight amounts than to visualize repeat-purchase trust.

By price range, low-cost practical items were numerous — pouches in the 10,000-won range, keyboards in the 40,000-won range, glasses in the 100,000-won range — yet the big money went to appliances, educational toys, and running sets costing several hundred thousand won. A dual structure is evident across the data: low-priced goods serve as entry points, while higher-priced goods form the real revenue pillar. Since a single 100-won item does not determine fundraising size, one could interpret that managing average transaction value matters more than backer count in deciding a project's success.

Outlook: Simultaneous Growth of Seasonal Foods and AI Tools

In sum, the crowdfunding market revealed by this data has three layers. Seasonal agricultural foods generate top fundraising figures through scarcity, AI tools attract individual producers, and small low-cost practical items — armed with encore and lowest-price labels — maintain inflow. Since these layers run in parallel rather than replacing one another, polarization between product categories is expected to widen further.

As the autumn harvest season begins, fruit projects featuring dried persimmons and pears are likely to succeed peaches and plums. In the AI space, as long as demand for short-form content does not wane, follow-up projects with similar formulas are expected to launch repeatedly. As the saying goes, don't just look back at the good old days — read tomorrow's board. The next round of the funding market is already written in the patterns of these 80 projects.
