October 27 Public Data Report: RenewPeople Recruits Overseas Expatriates
Procurement, Hiring, and Funding: A Snapshot of Corporate Activity in Public Data
Nearly 50 records of corporate activity were released simultaneously in each of three fields: government procurement, hiring, and crowdfunding. A total of 206 public data records—from Public Procurement Service contract information to Wadiz funding projects and job postings—shed light on the activities of 175 companies. Beyond the individual counts, the balanced distribution across the three fields itself reveals a trend of small and medium-sized enterprises diversifying their businesses.
In government procurement, numerous companies secured procurement contracts, including Daehun Environment, GN B Planning Co., Neulpum E&C, Daekyung Forest Development, Hanin Comprehensive Architectural Office, Namdo Tourism, and Jinwoo ATS. Notably, specialized firms in forestry, geographic information, and design were included, such as Forest Resources Development Ltd., Geumgang Geographic Information, and Hanbit Engineering Architectural Office. Insurers like Kyobo Life Planet Life Insurance as well as technology and service companies such as Wible, Hyukshin Safety Technology, and Saeroi also made the list. This suggests that small, medium, and mid-sized companies are participating widely in areas where public demand is concentrated, including environment, construction, forestry, and safety.
What Job Postings Reveal About Industry Talent Demand
The hiring data paints a map of talent demand by industry. RenewPeople is recruiting for multiple positions at once—global game GM, ITS lab director, team lead for automotive PCB defense overseas sales, and an expatriate posting at a Vietnamese production plant—demonstrating the pace of its overseas expansion. Simultaneous hiring spanning games, advanced materials, and manufacturing reflects a growth phase in these industries.
On the education front, Shop Music is seeking an early childhood music instructor at Co&Co Education's Cheongju branch, while ESC English Academy and Saenggak Academy are each looking for administrative staff and math instructors. YuzFit's Changwon branch is hiring freelance trainers, Raon Search is recruiting an experienced environmental, safety and health (SHE) professional for an advanced chemical manufacturer, and Background is handling hiring for a quality QC role at a Kospi-listed chemical materials company. Frainock's recruitment of a video designer for a fashion brand and Human Consulting Group's search for a year-end tax settlement module developer illustrate demand for content and fintech talent. Overall, demand stands out for IT developers, chemical and materials quality control staff, educators, and overseas sales personnel.
Crowdfunding: New Products Put to the Consumer Test
Crowdfunding data reveals the market's temperature—the moment when consumers open their wallets. By funding amount, fruit seller Ongwa leads the pack, having raised over 15.7 million won. Together with Green Pick, which showcased summer peach and plum compotes, it confirms a broad base in the food category.
Technology and lifestyle products are also strong. Truebo's anti-theft travel sling bag raised over 2.92 million won, Sok-on's AI content production exceeded 3.8 million won, and Troiki's Ten Head Massager brought in over 1.53 million won. Algorixm's AI service creation tool raised over 1.79 million won, proving demand for AI tools aimed at non-developers. Lifestyle brand Look At Me ran multiple projects in a row—cooling boxer briefs, a silicone body pad, and a wrist phone stand—making it a prime example of a series-based funding strategy. Projects like a shakuhachi making its Wadiz debut and an exclusively launched pair of eyeglass frames also highlight the funding platform's role as a market entry channel for early-stage brands.
What the Data Shows About the Corporate Ecosystem and Its Implications
Integrating the three fields makes one trend clear: companies are simultaneously leveraging government procurement as a source of stable cash flow, hiring as a growth engine, and crowdfunding as a means of market validation to solidify their business foundations. It can be summarized as a triple strategy—securing revenue through procurement, building capabilities through hiring, and gauging new product reactions through funding.
That said, the data also includes cases where some companies faced Fair Trade Commission sanctions or were embroiled in controversies, so it would be premature to judge a company's health from public information alone. Investors and prospective partners should look beyond positive indicators such as procurement track records and funding performance to regulatory risks as well.
Going forward, follow-up investment and expanded distribution are expected to continue around top-funded categories such as AI content tools, travel goods, and health supplements. Demand for overseas sales and development personnel in the hiring market is also likely to persist for some time. Reading the real activities of SMEs comprehensively through the window of public data is expected to become a useful tool for investment decisions and industry analysis.
