President Lee Jae-myung posted an article titled "Praise, but do not glorify; support, but do not worship" on X (formerly Twitter) on the evening of the 7th, stressing that support for politicians must not degenerate into blind idolization akin to religious devotion. The remarks, made amid growing public support for the president, serve as a warning to his supporters against excessive veneration, offering insight into the president's views on the proper relationship between politics and citizens.

It came just a day after a similar statement. On the 6th, President Lee also posted, "Whether left or right, forward or backward, we must guard against blind faith, extremism, and partisanship."

"If you genuinely believe that everything your own side says is right and everything the other side says is wrong, you are in a serious state," the president said, adding, "That is what is called fanaticism." He went on: "No matter who asserts it, what is right must be recognized as right for normal debate to be possible—and only then can we approach facts and truth through argument."

President Lee has repeatedly delivered messages criticizing extreme partisanship, including sharing a post on October 28 about Femco's preferential policies for multicultural families with the comment, "Setting aside whose side we are on, wrongs must be corrected." The series of recent social media posts continues this theme.
