Gallup Korea: President's Job Approval Rating at 64% Positive (26% Negative)
According to a presidential job performance survey conducted by Gallup Korea from April 28 to April 30, 2026, among 1,002 men and women nationwide aged 18 and over, positive evaluations stood at 64%.


In this survey, 64% responded that the president is 'doing well' in their job, while 26% stated they are 'doing poorly'. 'No opinion' accounted for 10%.
Looking at the trend of presidential job performance, compared to the previous survey on April 23, 2026, positive evaluations dropped by 3 percentage points from 67% to 64%. Negative evaluations rose by 1 percentage point from 25% to 26%, and 'no opinion' increased by 2 percentage points from 8% to 10%.
Party Support and Trends
In the party support survey, the Democratic Party of Korea garnered 46% support. The People Power Party recorded 21%, and those with no party affiliation constituted 27%.
Compared to the previous survey, the Democratic Party of Korea's support dropped by 2 percentage points from 48% to 46%. The People Power Party saw a 1 percentage point increase from 20% to 21%, and unaffiliated voters increased by 1 percentage point from 26% to 27%.
