7 Injured in Jeju Head-on Collision After Center Line Violation

A rental car driven by a driver in their 30s crossed the center line in Jeju, colliding with an oncoming vehicle and injuring seven people. The accident, reportedly caused by drunk driving, has caused shock.

Around 2:10 AM on the 2nd, near Changcheon Intersection in Sangye-dong, Seogwipo City, a rental car driven by an individual identified as 'A' (30s) crossed the center line and collided with an oncoming SUV. Five people sustained serious injuries, and two suffered minor injuries. At the time of the accident, driver A's blood alcohol content was at a level that would warrant license suspension.
