Park Jie-won Urges Voting as National Assembly Speaker Candidate

Lawmaker Park Jie-won, a candidate for National Assembly Speaker from the Democratic Party of Korea, expressed his determination to serve as Speaker on the 11th, encouraging party members to vote via social media.

Relaying the support and cheers he received from party members, Park mentioned, "Phone calls and texts are flooding in from party members across the country saying they voted for National Assembly Speaker candidate Park Jie-won, number 1." He added that during his visits to district committees in Incheon, Gyeonggi, Jeonnam, and Gwangju, lawmakers and party members cheered, "The Speaker is Park Jie-won," indicating a high level of support.

Candidate Park emphasized, "The people's will and the party's will are Heaven's will, and Heaven's will follows the mandate." He declared, "The people's will, the party's will, and the Assembly's will are one." He pledged to become "a strong National Assembly Speaker who diligently works and clears out corruption, a Speaker who supports President Lee Jae-myung, who works even harder, to be even more productive."
