Rep. Seo Beom-soo Shaves Head to Hold Central Politics Accountable

People Power Party lawmaker Seo Beom-soo shaved his head on the 18th, attributing the fault of central politics to himself and urging an objective evaluation of local election candidates. This act signified the need for accountability from central politicians in the party's nomination process and a fair assessment of regional candidates.

Seo acknowledged the disappointment caused by the People Power Party failing to meet public expectations since the emergency martial law on December 3. He argued that local election candidates are standing at the starting line burdened by faults they did not commit.

He called on voters to choose individuals who understand Ulju better and deeply comprehend their neighbors, based on the candidates' platforms and capabilities. Seo stated that he would demonstrate his sincerity through the head-shaving.
