US Military Reportedly Considered Raid to Seize Iran's Highly Enriched Uranium

The US military reportedly reviewed plans to deploy special forces to secure highly enriched uranium (HEU) that could be used in Iran's nuclear weapons program. This occurred in the middle to latter half of last month, with military leaders, including Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley, returning urgently for operation briefings, according to reports.

In recent weeks, Iran has stepped up efforts to fortify its nuclear facilities, believed to house HEU storage sites, effectively expanding its blockade. Analysis indicates that Iran's intensified fortification efforts have made accessing highly enriched uranium (HEU) more difficult and dangerous compared to a month ago.
